How do I know a teacher is trustworthy?
Every teacher on DjibTuteur is manually verified by our team: diploma confirmed, verification call, identity checked. The "Verified" badge guarantees the file has been approved.
What if the teacher doesn't show up?
Contact us immediately on WhatsApp. We'll offer you a replacement within 24 hours and flag the teacher. Three unexcused absences lead to profile suspension.
How do I cancel a session?
Contact the teacher directly on WhatsApp at least 24 hours in advance. A late cancellation (under 24 hours) is flagged on the teacher's profile.
How much does a session cost?
Rates are set freely by each teacher. They typically range from 2,000 to 5,000 DJF per session. The rate is clearly shown on every profile before you make contact.
Can I pay the teacher directly, outside the platform?
We strongly advise against it. Any session or payment arranged outside DjibTuteur is entirely at your own risk: in case of a no-show, a dispute, or a safety issue, we won't be able to step in or protect you. Going through DjibTuteur guarantees a verified teacher and support if something goes wrong.
Do I need an account to find a teacher?
No. You can filter by subject, level and district and browse verified profiles without an account. You only fill in a short request form when you want to contact a teacher.
Do lessons take place at home?
Yes. The teacher comes to your home. Choose a teacher who works in your district, tell us your neighborhood, then agree together on the date, time and place of the lesson.
How quickly will the teacher reply?
The teacher usually replies within 2 hours, directly on WhatsApp. You then agree on schedule and rate with them.
How does payment work?
You pay DjibTuteur after each session, by mobile money (Waafi, D-Money, CAC Pay…). There is no subscription and no commitment.
How do I leave a review for a teacher?
After a session, you can share your feedback on the teacher. Reviews come from real parents and are shown on the teacher’s profile to help other families choose.
