1. Purpose
DjibTuteur is a platform connecting parents looking for home tutoring with teachers offering their services in Djibouti. DjibTuteur is not the employer of teachers and is not a party to the contractual relationship between the parent and the teacher.
2. Registration
Anyone creating a teacher profile agrees to provide accurate information (identity, qualifications, rates). DjibTuteur reserves the right to verify submitted documents and to refuse or suspend a profile in case of false or misleading information.
3. Matching and payment
DjibTuteur facilitates contact between parents and teachers and organizes payment for sessions through the platform: the parent pays DjibTuteur, which then pays the teacher their share. Schedule and location remain freely agreed upon between the parent and the teacher. Any session organized, or any payment made, outside the platform without going through DjibTuteur is done entirely at the parent's and teacher's own risk: DjibTuteur cannot be held responsible for any dispute, no-show, safety issue, or payment failure arising from such arrangements, and offers no guarantee or protection for them.
4. Reviews
Reviews published on a teacher profile must reflect a real experience lived by the parent following a match made through the platform. Any review that is false, abusive, or unrelated to a real experience may be removed by the DjibTuteur team.
5. Liability
DjibTuteur makes every effort to verify teacher profiles before publication, but cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information provided nor the quality of the lessons given. Each user remains responsible for their own diligence in choosing a teacher or accepting a request.
6. Account deletion
Any user may request the deletion of their account and data at any time by contacting contact@djibtuteur.com. DjibTuteur may also suspend an account in the event of non-compliance with these terms.
7. Changes to these Terms
DjibTuteur may modify these terms at any time. Users will be informed of significant changes via the platform.
